The connection between the back-end and the front-end was set up (with some bug-fixes along the way). This part wasn\u8217\'92t difficult because of the previously planned out back-end protocol made it easier to integrate the connection to the back-end in the front-end. There was an issue at first connecting to the back-end, but it was discovered that it was a browser \u8220\'93feature\u8221\'94 involving \u8220\'93CORS\u8221\'94 (I think) where basically the back-end and the front-end needed to be hosted by the same server (and port), otherwise the front-end would fail to connect to the back-end.
